Hennessy is the world's leading producer of cognac, selling more than 40 percent of the world's cognac. The distillery was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy with the dream of creating the world's finest cognac. Hennessy are the creators of the cognac classification system used across the industry today, originally creating the very superior old pale cognac - the V.S.O.P. - at a special request from King George IV.

Hennessy draws on over 250 years of experience, as well as only the finest ingredients to bring you the perfect cognac. Using only eaux de vie from the four great crus of the region, Hennessy keep one of the largest reserves of cognac eaux de vie in the world, storing over 300,000 casks with the oldest eau de vie dating back to 1800. Hennessy are proud to be able to craft some of the rarest, most exceptional cognacs in the world.
